Travel wish list

Neuschwanstein castle is loacted in theBavarian Alps of Germany, and looks a little familar...

Imagine 500 kids around you and you're looking at the model for Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland.

This castle not only put "Mad Kind Ludwig" into severe debt, which was completed in 1886, (he threatened suicide if they were to seize his castle for accets) but holds the mystery to a few deaths that to this day, they don't know what exactly happened.

I'm planning on squeezing this into our trip to Germany in about 3 years. My main goals for this trip are to see as many castles as possible and get a chance to do a few history tours about World War 2. So far, this is the itinerary:

Berlin: 3 nights

Frankfurt: 2 nights

Munich: 4 night stay
                        - Special day trips to Dakou, Salzburg, Linderhoff, Neuschwanstein

We hope to do this trip in the fall, mostly for the beer gardens however August will probably be more realistic. Either way, I'm really looking forward to this trip!
