I always love to see how many books I can read on my trips. Seeing as I don't have much reading time between work and school, it's such a nice luxury to actually sit and enjoy what I'm reading. I'm really ashamed to say that I never took advantage of my high school's library to read some of the classics. Now that I'm older, I see the importance of them.
1. The Count of Monte Cristo writte by Alexandre Dumas, unabridged.
I'm really excited for this to come in the mail. I've heard this book is so addicting and action packed, definatly something I'll need on that long train ride from Paris to Rome!
2. A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemmingway
After watching "Midnight in Paris" (great movie!) I realized I have never read anything he has written. How terrible is that? He also is a pretty interesting guy, I read up on him before ordering my book and was fascinated. After this, I plan on reading "The Sun Also Rises."
3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Ok, I realize this is probably not a "classic" but since the last movie came out I've been trying to re-read all of the books. Since I've had like no time, I've only made it through the first two so this is definatly getting thrown in my suitcase.
If you have any other great book suggestions, feel free to comment! I know I'll need more than three books!
